Victor Dudarev Biography
I was born on October 15, 1980 in the Voskresensky district of the Moscow region. In 1987, I went to study at the school closest to the house, which turned out to be Faustovskaya school No. 36, where I studied for 8 years - from grades 1 to 9 (successfully skipped grade 4, thanks to the peculiarities of the transition to 11-year education). From school, I warmly recall the lessons of Myakisheva Nina Viktorovna, who was perhaps the strongest teacher-chemist in the region, which was proved by pupils who were multiple winners of regional chemistry Olympiads.
In 1995, I entered Beloozersky secondary school No. 23 with in-depth study of subjects, which largely predetermined my future life path. In grades 10-11, the main emphasis was on three subjects: mathematics, computer science and physics. For each of them, I was lucky to meet not only excellent school teachers, but also wonderful lecturers from MATI who conducted electives: Mikhailov Yuri Albertovich, Podgornova Olga Viktorovna, Gruzdev Yuri Viktorovich.
After my passion for computer science at school, the choice of a university became obvious - I really wanted to get into the MATI at the Department of Information Technology, where Olga Viktorovna worked, in order to continue my studies there. I managed to enter after special school exams, which were also entrance exams to the institute, and I spent the next 6 years at MATI, where a strong teaching team gathered at the department under the leadership of Sergey Mikhailovich Avdoshin, consisting mainly of MIEM teachers - IT specialists. Studying, of course, was quite difficult, but interesting. Among the teachers, of course, I remember the supervisor, with whom I was lucky to write both theses, and later work together - Podbelsky Vadim Valerievich - Professor (with a capital letter), a classic who published countless books on programming languages.
Thanks to Vadim Valerievich, the topics of theses were related to the development of information systems closely related to chemistry for the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science named after A.A. Baikov RAS (IMET RAS).
Nadezhda Nikolaevna Kiselyova supervised the thesis work on the part of IMET RAS, who offered me, then a student who had not yet graduated from the university, to get a job at IMET as a programmer - so IMET became my first place of work, with which I have a lot to do to this day. Looking back, I understand how much Nadezhda Nikolaevna's work was ahead of its time - already at the turn of the century, with her direct participation, specialized chemical databases accessible via Internet were created as an information basis for the machine learning methods she used. Works by Kiselyova N.N. on predicting the properties of chemical substances with the help of a computer for decades ahead of similar work by other teams.
In 2003, after graduating from MATI, on the recommendation of N.N. Kiselyova I entered the graduate school of MITHT named after M.V. Lomonosov to the Department of Information Technology, where Valery Fedorovich Kornyushko became my leader and guide to the scientific world, to whom I am grateful for the help and valuable teaching experience gained, which, as it turns out, will later be in demand in leading Russian universities, such as MISiS and the Higher School of Economics, where I was lucky to work with my former MATI teachers: Sergey Mikhailovich Avdoshin and Vadim Valerievich Podbelsky.
My work in a commercial company (OSG) for the development of Web applications stands out, which allowed me not only to gain the necessary experience in industrial development after graduating from the university, but also to meet a lot of interesting people, among whom Alexey Voyakin, the former technical director of the company, occupies a special place. and the one who interviewed me at the time of employment is a brilliant developer who studied at MIEM by V.V. Podbelsky and S.M. Avdoshin (small world), best friend, to whom I owe my professional development...
